Rent open its 10th season is Seoul, South Korea

The show will run from 9th November 2025 to 22nd February 2026

Rent will open its 10th season on November 9 at the COEX Atrium in Seoul, as announced by the production company Shinsicom on the 10th.

Jonathan Larson’s cult musical 'Rent' is a modern interpretation of Puccini's opera 'La Bohème', depicting the passionate daily lives of young artists living in New York's East Village.

Rent first premiered in 2000. The musical addresses socially taboo subjects In South Korea.

The cast is led by Lee Hae-jun, Yoo Hyun-seok, and SF9’s Yoo Tae-yang as Roger, joined by Jin Tae-hwa and Yang Hee-jun as Mark, Kim Soo-ha and Solji as Mimi, Jo Kwon and Hwang Soon-jong as Angel and Jang Ji-hoo and Hwang Geon-ha.The as Collins

In a statement, Yoo Tae-yang said: “It’s such an honor to portray a character in a work as meaningful as ‘Rent.’ I’ve always wanted to be part of this production, so while I’m grateful, I also feel a great sense of responsibility. I hope to work harmoniously with the cast and bring my best to the stage without letting anyone down.”

The performances are scheduled to continue for about three months until February 22 next year.
