Mrs Doubtfire premieres in Düsseldorf, Germany

The musical will premiere on 6th November at Capitol Theatre, Düsseldorf
The musical, based on the well-known Hollywood comedy from 1993 starring Robin Williams, tells the story of unemployed actor Daniel Hillard, who disguises himself as the eccentric Scottish nanny Mrs. Doubtfire in order to be able to continue spending time with his children after separating from his wife. From November 2025, the musical will also be seen at the Capitol Theater Düsseldorf after London and Broadway.
The cast is led by Thomal Hohler as Daniel Hillard, joined by Dustin Smailes as alternate Daniel Hillard, Jessica Kessler as Miranda Hillard, Alina Simon as Lydia Hillard, Nicolas Tenerani as Frank Hillard, Malick Afocozi as André Mayem, Christian Funk as Stuart Dunmire, Tamara Wörner as Wanda Sellner, Mark van Beelne as Jolly Judge, Anneka Dacres as Janet Lundy, Lilian Nikolic as Flamenco Singer/Ensemble, Daniel Délyon as Loopy Lenny, ensemble members are Tiziana Turano, Julian Schier, Marlen Praxmarer, Anna Tarcy and Giovanni Corrado, Julia Swing and Kids Captain are Calum Flynn and Julia Waldmayer, swings are Lisa Wissert, Steven Armin Novak, Laya Höfling, Kevin Gordon Valentine and Teya Quarmyne and Dani Spampinato as walk-in cover.
The musical has a music and lyrics by Wayne and Karey Kirkpatrick, book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell, directed by Jerry Zaks, choreography by Lorin Latarro, musical supervisor, arrangements and orchestration by Ethan Popp, scenery by David Korins, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Philip S. Rosenberg, hair design by David Brian Brown, producers are Kevin McCollum and Jamie Wilson, executive producer Michael Driemler-Falk.
