Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds embarks a tour in 2026

The tour will launch at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo on 9th October 2026

Jeff Wayne and The War of The Worlds team are thrilled to announce that the Musical Version of The War of The Worlds Live! The Concert Experience will be touring theatres and concert halls in October 2026, with a very special concert rendition, presented by Kilimanjaro.

This will be the first time fans will see the chart topping original double album (1978) performed live and in full: Where the music is at the core of the show. A collaboration of an orchestra, full live band and video.

Jeff said “Performing at concert and theatre venues, the production will give the audiences a different perspective of my musical version, stripping the ‘spectacle' of my arena tours back down to its foundation…the music!  For this concert tour, I'll be stepping back from the podium, but the production will showcase exceptional artists from the West End and other major performing mediums, supported by a band, orchestra, animation and other concert elements. It will stand as a true companion to my arena tours.”
