BBC confirmed broadcast date of National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals
Broadcast of Big Night of Musicals 2026 will take place on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Saturday 28 March 2026
National Lorrery’s Big Night of Musicals took place on 26th January at the AO Arena in Manchester. The star-studded event was hosted by Jason Manford. This was the fifth year when the concert celebrated the National Lottery contribution towards theatre related projects.
As usual, BBC will broadcast the event to celebrate all kinds of musical productions from London West End production to touring production, also numerous small community projects from all over the UK.
The event featured the audience favourite Paddington alongside The Lion King, Oliver!, Sunny Afternoon, Miss Saigon, Wicked, I’m Every Woman: The Chaka Khan Musical and much more.
